I’m going to talk about calories. Now, I’m going to try and keep it simple too. We could have a long, drawn out conversation about how not all calories are the same but, for the sake of this article, we’re just going to talk about calories and calorie deficit. And, I swear, I’m going to try and keep it simple.
When you think of the words weight loss we all just think a Number on a scales decreasing right? Well the difference between weight loss fat loss is, when you lose weight yes you will lose body fat but you will also lose water retention AND muscle. The latter no one wants to lose, but water retention is good to drop.
It’s something we’ve all heard repeated time and again, “If you want to lose body fat you need to cut carbs.” The truth of the matter is less simple than that. Everyone is different and so are our bodies, so it’s only natural that our bodies will react differently to carbohydrates.
